曾經在藍月的奇蹟下
在Youtube上看到《Simply Irresistible》（魔法一點靈）暨插曲《Once in a Blue Moon》的剪輯。一時間懷舊心情大發。
《Simply Irresistible》的劇情很簡單。繼承母親遺留下來的餐廳，小老闆娘Amanda廚藝不佳又不擅經營，人生處在岌岌可危的轉角。然後年輕有為的菁英Tom來到了Amanda的小店。於是Amanda做出來的菜色有了不可思議的魔力；哀傷時的菜肴讓人嚐了流淚，開心時的菜肴讓人嚐了愉悅。Tom和Amanda就在這樣的魔法氣氛下相戀相知。
電影其實不怎麼樣。當年的宣傳語拿它和墨西哥女作家Laura Esquivel原著所拍出的電影《Like Water for Chocolate》（巧克力情人）相提並論，真是拿什麼比什麼......
《Like Water for Chocolate》所闡述的愛戀、慾望、家族、激情、背叛......這些元素在《Simply Irresistible》中都沒有。只有美國式的純情與機緣巧合、俊男美女眼睛糖果，還有還有，讓電影加了許多分的插曲《Once in a Blue Moon》。電影的許多場景都已不復記憶，只有Sydney Forest如摯友撫慰般的歌聲在腦海中依舊不停旋繞。
